In the second quarter of 2024, the fast food and fast casual dining sector in Brazil has seen varied performance across popular iOS applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery started the quarter with approximately 46K downloads, witnessing a slight decline over the weeks but peaked at nearly 49K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting around 411K and fluctuating throughout the quarter with a peak at 475K in late May.
Burger King Brasil saw its downloads begin at 38K, decreasing steadily to about 30K in late April, and then rebounded to over 41K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users started at 140K, dipped in mid-April, and rose back to a high of 167K in mid-June.
Habib's experienced a relatively stable quarter, with downloads hovering around 10K to 12K. The weekly active users for Habib's remained consistent, starting at nearly 40K and peaking at 42K.
Domino's Pizza Brasil downloads were the lowest among the top apps, starting at about 1.6K and reaching over 2.5K by mid-June. The weekly active users showed gradual growth from 5K to nearly 5.8K over the quarter.
Lastly, Subway Trinidad downloads began at 1.4K, dipped to under 1K in April, but recovered to 1.8K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a similar pattern, with an initial count of 4.3K, a drop to around 3.8K, and a rebound to over 4.4K in mid-April.
